I had the privilege of being the DJ for a San Diego Fashion Show two years in a row: “Couture for a Cause”.
This is ALWAYS a fun event, and it benefits “Voices for Children” and STAR/PAL.
Most of the models are legal professionals – lawyers and paralegals, but two of the models are young adults that were foster children. It’s heartwarming to hear their stories, and VERY entertaining to watch some normally reserved lawyers and legal secretaries cut loose and strut their stuff on the runway.
Of course, being the DJ, I have a blast with the music for a San Diego fashion show. I know it’s not an LA show, but we probably have a lot more fun! I get to choose the high-energy music that fits each model’s personality, and pumps up the crowd.
It’s always over too soon! I really enjoy watching the models get into the music and interact with the crowd.
